Kathleen Brockman
Assistant Director

Kathy has worked at Small Faces since 1979. She has a B.A. in History and Elementary Education. She is STARS certified. Kathy worked as a teacher at Small Faces before becoming Assistant Director in 1988.

Tom Sullivan

Tom has been the Lead Teacher for Under the Sea since 2001. He has over 40 E.C.E credits, STARS certification and over 10 years experience working with children.

Laura Chandler

Laura has worked at Small Faces since 1988. She is currently the Curriculum Coordinator and the Lead Teacher in the Kangaroo Room. Laura has a degree in Environmental Science, an A.A. in E.C.E., and is a STARS Trainer.

Michael Reisman

Michael is the Lead Teacher in the Mountain Room. He has a B.A. in Journalism and a B.A. in Philosophy. Michael has completed STARS certification. Prior to working at Small Faces, he was a long-term substitute teacher at a Head Start Program. He has completed several credits in E.C.E. Michael has worked at Small Faces since 2005.

Barbara Stehman

Barbara is the Lead Teacher for the Middle Kids. She has completed STARS certification. She has an A.A. in E.C.E. along with 25 years of relevant experience and artistic training. Barbara has been working at Small Faces since 2001.

Johnny Otto

Johnny is the Lead Teacher for the Big Kids program and has been since 2004. He has a Masters in Education, and a B.A. in French. He has completed STARS certification. Johnny has over 5 years of relevant experience.

Susan Eagle

Susan has been the Lead Teacher in the Tree Frog Room since 2005. She has completed STARS certification. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, and over 30 years of experience in childcare.

Nancy Wiggins

Nancy is the Associate Teacher in the Under the Sea Room.  She has earned STARS certification.  She has a B.A. in History, has been teacher certified, and has worked part-time/full-time/ or as a substitute for Small Faces since 1989.

Renee Clinton

Renee has been the Associate Teacher in the Tree Frog Room since September of 2005.  She is currently working on her Early Childhood Education Degree and has 6 years of experience in childcare.  She has completed STARS certification.

Carly Davis

Carly is the Associate Teacher in the Big Kids Program.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art.  She is STARS certified.

Derrick Williams

Derrick is the Associate Teacher in the Rainforest Room. He has completed STARS certification. He is a Northwest native and a veteran of the U.S.A.F. Derrick earned his B.A. in Religion and Philosophy. He has been working at Small Faces since 2000. He became a teacher at Small Faces in 2005.

Jane Pendras-Verdon

Jane is the Associate Teacher in the Mountain Room.  She has a B.A. in Psychology and has provider experience in early childhood education.

Fred Bauer

Fred is the Lead Teacher in the Challenge Room. Fred has a B.S. in Business Administration and is currently attending Western Washington University in pursuit of his Washington State teaching credentials.

Michelle Anderson

Michelle is the Teacher Assistant for the Tree Frogs. Michelle has worked at Small Faces since 1990 and is STARS certified.

Michael Ramirez

Michael is a Teacher Assistant for the Challenge/Middle Kids Programs.  Michael has worked for Small Faces since 1995 and is STARS certified.

Nimi Sharma

Nimi is a Teacher Assistant in the Tree Frogs Room.  She has been at Small Faces since 2005.  She has a bachelor’s degree in Education and 25 years of teaching experience in India.  Nimi has completed STARS certification.

Heather Gee

Heather is a Teacher Assistant in the Kangaroo Room. She first began working at Small Faces in 1993. Heather has Down Syndrome. She likes to share her story with adults and children so that they will know that people with Down Syndrome have feelings, interests and activities just like other people. Heather has a great imagination and likes to share stories she has written. She enjoys singing as well. Heather has been working with children in different capacities for 14 years.

Dale White

Dale is the Lead Custodial/Maintenance person. Dale has over 19 years of relevant experience and has worked for Small Faces since 2000. He has his Carpentry and Maintenance certificates and is a licensed locksmith.

Robert Miller

Robert has been a custodian here at Small Faces since 2004. He has a B.A. in Health, and has experience in roofing.

Sunni Easton
Sunni is our Cook. Sunni has over 30 years experience in the Culinary Arts field, 10 of which were spent running her own catering business. She is currently working towards a degree in Culinary Arts at Seattle Central Community College.
